The difficult path to revive Sony Corp.

Below is my comment on the article of "Out of the Shadows Page 18 Time, March 21, 2005".

Howard Stringer might be a capable and brilliant CEO. But it is a wishful thinking for Sony that he could solve the core of the problems she faces now.

The point is that the future of Sony Corp. depends not on the appointment of a foreign boss but on whether all of her directors and employees could regain the spirit of craftsmanship that Mr.Morita, the founder of this global enterprise, had the other day enthusiastically to satisfy his cool customers as well as his strong curiosity to technology.

I believe they can have a chance to revive the company because the sound of “Sony” is still alive in the hearts of many customers as the symbol of superb Japanese technological gadgets.
