THE SHAME OF KILO COMPANY IN IRAQ

Below is my comment on the article of "The Shame of Kilo Company", Page 20 TIME, June 5, 2006

What led such proud and brave men of U.S.Marines to a horrible and shameful conduct of killing Iraqi civilians if it is revealed to be true?

War sometimes leads a man to madness, how he is well trained to be self-controlled with strict military discipline. If his company is killed in a life or death battlefield, anything could happen with his anger and madness. But that can never be an excuse to kill innocent children and women.

I strongly hope the US government as well as media unravel the truth of this incident to restore the prestige of US Marines and America itself if it still exists.

Bye Bye Birdies

Below is my comment on the article of "Bye Bye Birdies", Page 44 TIME, May 29, 2006

How shocking it is to know the number of migratory birds was dropped sharply! I have never thought about a close relationship between migratory birds and global warming as you pointed out in your article.

We should not forget the fact that even the death of a single bird affected by global warming is closely linked to the fate of human beings since it could lead to the all-out deterioration of the ecosystem on which we heavily depend.
